About Our President
Air Cdre JOO Duke was born in Calabar, Cross River State, on 14 October 1953. He had his early education at Apapa Baptist School, Lagos, and Nigerian Military School, Zaria. He served briefly in the Nigerian Army Signal Corps and School, before gaining admission into the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna, as a member of the 12th Regular Course in 1972.
He started his career in the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) as a member of Student Pilot Course 10, in 1974 but dropped out of flying and attended Aircraft Electrical and Instrument Engineering Maintenance Course at Royal Air Force College, Cranwell, in 1975. He served in the NAF for 35 years and attended many academic, staff/command, and professional courses.
Air Commodore Brig.Gen. JN Temlong (RTD)
About Our Vice-President
Brig. General Jonathan Ndam Temlong (Rtd) was born on the 7th of January 1954. He is a Nigerian from Plateau State. Jon Temlong has distinguished himself as an officer and a gentleman in a military career spanning over 30 years. He holds a Master of Military Arts and Science (MMAS) from the USA and is a Fellow of the War College (fwc) Abuja.
Jon Temlong is a strategic thinker known for his astute analytical mind deployed towards formulating strategic solutions in resolving complicated issues. As an avid reader and a dexterous writer, he has demonstrated high cognitive and intellectual prowess and capabilities in the many scholarly written research papers that he has conducted on numerous topics covering myriad areas of wide interest related not only to his military profession (dealing with extensive analysis on domestic and international situations) but also on issues surrounding constitutional reforms.

Air Commodore Isaac Olufemi Oguntuyi (rtd) is the President of the Nigerian Defence Academy Alumni – 18 Regular Course and a distinguished graduate of the prestigious National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru – Jos (SEC 26). His military decorations are ‘Distinguished Service Star (DSS)’, ‘Meritorious Service Star (MSS)’ and ‘Forces Service Star (FSS)’ among others. He has several qualifications which include: Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife; Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and Master of Science in Electronic System Design, College of Aeronautics, Cranfield University, England.
Before his retirement from the military in December 2008, he attended several courses among which are: Radar System – Analysis, Design and Meteorology at Obafemi Awolowo University Consultancy Service Centre, Ile-Ife; Information and Networking Technology Workshop at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile – Ife; Computer and Operational Research Course at University of Lagos Consult and Senior Leader Seminar, ‘Managing National Security Resources in A Democracy ’at a Civil-Military Assistance Programme. He also attended Senior Executive Course 26 at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru-Jos and he had a course in Civil-Military Responses to Terrorism at the Center for Civil-Military Relations, National Postgraduate School, Monterey, California.

About Our General Secertary
Cdre Michael Folusho Daniel (rtd) was born in Orokere Amuro, Kogi State to the family of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Ajayi on the 17th November 1956. He attended the University of Lagos where he obtained a BSc Hon in Business Administration. After completing his NYSC, he was commissioned as a Sub Lieutenant into the Nigerian Navy as Direct Entry Officer in 1980. While in the Navy, he held several appointments. Some of these appointments included Base Supply Officer, Assistant Supply Officer NNS ARADU, Deputy Director of Finance DHQ, Commanding Officer Nigerian Navy Finance and Logistics School Owertinta where he was subsequently appointed as a member of Abia State Security Council.

About Our Assistant Secretary
Darlington Egbunu Abdullahi Ph.D. served in the Nigerian Air Force in various capacities for over 33 years before retiring meritoriously in 2012 at the rank of Air Commodore. He attended the Nigerian Defence Academy as a member of 26 Regular Course. He also attended the Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Jaji for both Junior and Senior Division staff courses where he later became a Directing Staff and subsequently Chief Instructor at the Department of Air Warfare. He also attended the National War College Nigeria (now National Defence College) as a Participant of Course 15 and was later appointed a Directing Staff and Director of National and Military Strategy.

About Our Chief Whip
Brigadier General Sotunde Aina Songonuga (RTD) was enlisted into the Nigeria Army on 3rd January 1979. He served the Nigerian Army meritoriously as an Infantry Officer for 36 years. He attended the Nigerian Defence Academy, the Junior and Senior Division Staff Courses at the Armed Forces Command and Staff College Jaji, and the National War College Abuja, where he earned the prestigious Fellow of War College.
He studied History/Education as First Degree at the University of Abuja while his Master’s Degree was in Strategic Studies at the University of Ibadan. Some of the courses he attended were; Mountain Warfare Course, Jungle Warfare, Combat Survival Course, Young Officer’s Course, Anti-Tank Platoon Commander’s Course, and Regimental Signal Officer’s Course.

Commodore William Kunle Ogunbiyi was born on the 11th of March 1959 in Owa- Kajola Ifelodun LGA of Kwara State. He had his primary and secondary school education in Kwara State and finished at the University of Ife with BEng Electrical/ Electronics in 1981 with a Second Class Upper Division. He was subsequently after NYSC commissioned into the Nigerian Navy in 1982 as a Sub-Lieutenant. Since commissioning, he has undergone several courses and held many appointments. These include Weapons Engineering Specialisation course in Royal Naval Engineering College UK, Intermediate Level Weapons Engineering

About Air Cdre Sani Adullahi Zakari (RTD)
Air Cdre Sani Abdullahi Zakari (RTD) was born on 15 March 1969 in Kano Nigeria at Riruwai village of now Doguwa LGA. He is a member of NDA 32nd Regular Combatant Course, NAF. He attended NDC CSE 18 of 2009 – 2010 and holds ADPA from Unijos, BSc Econs from BUK Kano, and Masters in Strategic Studies from Unibadan.
